This past week on way down to Yamba for a week with the Swan - an Australian country compilation from the nineties and the best of the Everly Brothers and on the way back best of the Mamas and the Pappas and the best of the Patridge Family.

My new car stereo has DAB radio, where I first heard him and I now stream MMM radio classic at home, mainly cause the Alice show is on MMM classic.
He plays excellent tunes, and as you said lots of inside info, cause alot of the time he was there with the old school muso's.
One story he told was about Talking Heads "Psycho Killer". When Talking Heads were starting out and were playing support for him on tour, they wrote the song about the Alice Cooper stage character. Dont really know with him if its true or just his funny twisted sense of humour.

i'm addicted to Jason Isbell at the moment. Hard-edged Americana country legend. Lyrical genius.

Check out songs Different Days and also Cumberland Gap. In fact the entire album 'Southeastern' is brilliant from start to finish!

Latest fav song...   Pity radio don't tend to pick up these tracks -  maybe cause it's 8m 24s for a track - and that would be too long for our ultra short attention span society - great music.
