Welcome to MySwag Kiwial. You have come to the right place for advice. A word of warning, the electrical section can be 'interesting' :)

Hi Kiwial, Welcome you will find the best info about all things camping on this forum. I would suggest you go and have a chat with the guys at Austrack Campers on boat harbour drive there pretty clued up. There has been a few in the local paper as well. Brisbane is not to far to have a look at all the camper places as well. Shoot me a Pm and I will try and help.

Ryan

Hi Al, I also am in Hervey Bay. Unfortunately I am also a CT newbie so not much help to you. We have just bought our first soft floor camper, have had caravans and most recently a Jayco Hawk for years but are doing the cape this year and hopefully a desert crossing next year so wanted something with better off road capabilities. We have purchased a 2003 Camel Bushman and will be taking it to Rainbow this weekend for its maiden voyage followed by 10 days on Fraser over the Easter school holidays. All in preparation for a 5 week trip to the cape starting the 1st of August.

Maybe we should look at a Wide bay my swag weekend?

Cheers
Alan

Thanx Ryan, I spent Saturday morning putting some LED's in the camper and new water hose from the tank. Had to set it up to do it and before I finished the rain came, just got it away this afternoon. At least I know the bed stays dry  ;D

Cheers
