Title: Long Tan Remembered

Remembering these brave soldiers that gave their all physicaly and mentaly for their mates on this day, aginst the overwhelming odds ..
A great big thankyou to Maurie Stanley the NZ FO for his skill and courage under fire. To the New Zealand gunners and American brothers,  who slaved away tirelesly in support to keep the guns  up .
Also those on the Vietnamese side who fought and died in large numbers this day, for what they believed in ..
Warriors all ..
We remember and honour you ..

The movie was on just recently as well. Like all wars, a horrible time to be a soldier..

And to think, some Australians booed these viet vets when they came home.

Also from that article, talking about the lack of "diversity" in the media

"a more diverse workforce would help the media represent a broader range of political views, pointing to electorates in Western Sydney, home to ethnic communities that recorded high "no" votes on the same-sex marriage postal survey."

So if you voted "no", then there's something "wrong", it's a bad result, & you have to be taught the error of your ways ??? ::)
