Roof top tinny on Jayco Swan/Eagle
« on: December 04, 2018, 08:22:56 PM »
Hey guys

Just seeing if anyone out there has any experience with putting a roof top tinny on the Jayco Swan/Eagle. Did you use factory racks?? How did you lash it down??

Have a 2018 Jayco Swan OB and looking at getting a 3.7 makocraft tinny topper on the racks, mount the mangrove jack trailer to the rear bar and probably put the 18hp outboard on the deck inside.

I have seen a side loader setup on the net which comes off the chassis which looked pretty good for a quick unpack. I was hoping to use factory rails and rig up some kind of roller set up at rear to assist with loading/unloading.

Any infö on mods they have made would be great to hear from you,

Cheers

Have heard of a  Custom Made Boat Loader Slider  that Mounts on the Rear Wheel carrier of the Swan Outback and makes Loading a Boat or Tinnie to the Swan racks  Easy.
