Nice work again Pottsy.

I have been working on a couple of projects. One is a coopered bucket full of flowers made of various materials such as leather, steel, copper, fabric & wood. 5 people were involved. It will be on display at Wellcamp airport during Carnival of Flowers.

Now working on a rocking horse for a display in the museum for the same event. Thought I had until October to finish this project but the deadline is now end of this month so pressure is on.

Another interesting project Raym, Don’t you just love working to a deadline!
Customer who ordered the farm set wanted two more items, another truck with sides and a Steiger tractor.
Did them over the last two days, tractor off the cuff from this photo.

Hey Pottsy.

We went up to a Model Show at Ipswich last weekend, which had a variety of things on display, not just plastic models.

While we were looking at some buildings, Leafz said that you should have been there, with a selection on display! :cup:

What do you think, worth looking in to ???

& just for the sake of clicking some buttons ;D

Thanks Fizzie, might stroll along and have a look, it’s close to home too, so that’s a bonus.

Installed Insulation, walls and ceiling on, personal screen and door on yesterday, decided on a wooden door rather than the metal one, heater in a couple of weeks ago.

Should be ready for paint next week with a bit of luck.

Thanks mate, the plan is to live in it while we renovate the house, then it will be a motorcycle/farm workshop on one side and brewery/bar/mens shed on the other.
Cheers Baz.

Start planning on replacing one, together with the fence behind it! :'(

During the virtual mimi-cyclone we had on Thursday night (an East Coast Low spun up out of nowhere with howling winds & pouring rain), a branch came down from the neighbour's Silky Oak, & landed across our little garden shed & the fence behind it.

Punched a hole in the shed roof, bashed in part of the back wall, also cracked the fence's top cross-rail, & snapped one of it's posts off at ground level.

All up, the branch would have ~6m long & 100-150mm thick :o

So, looks like we're up for a new shed, as I doubt that can be repaired ???, & we'd also want to reposition it, so that the same doesn't happen again ::)

That section of fence will also need to be replaced, & those neighbours have said that they'll probably take the opportunity to do their whole back fence - that's not our problem though, only the 5m section we share in that corner.

Don't know if it's going to be worth putting in an insurance claim for it all?

#1 Roof
#2 Back wall
#3 The branch on our side - the brick is just there to give some scale!
#4 More of the branch over the fence
#5 The stump that it broke off from
#6 Just how high that is! The flagpole & grevillea in front of the silky oak are both ~5m tall, so something like 12-15m up ???

Mate, that's already happened from starting to sort out stuff piled dumped in the corner! ::) :'(

Now, while we're on the subject of sheds, spoke to the insurance company, & yes, the old shed is covered under "Impact"! ;D

But ...

Apart from a quote for replacement, they need us to get a report from "a repairer" to say that it can't be repaired ???

Who do you even approach about possible repairs to a little, old, tin shed ???
