In don't mean to sound insensitive, and hope everyone is ok..........
But that's some bloody green grass! In could roll around on that all day!
On a serious note though, was the storm expected or was it out of the blue?

Cheers

Mate the wind and rain here on the Central Coast was unbelievable last night but what you guys copped must have been almost frightening. Hope all down that way bounce back quickly. Im sure the Aussie spirit will kick in to gear down that way and youll all be back to normal in no time..........

From what I understand all local Swaggers are OK.
The SES (some MySwaggers) worked their butts off.  :cup:

We were in the van at Gerroa and while not as bad as Kiama it wasn't far behind.

Hanging on to our awning at 4am like a sailor in the Sydney to Hobart wrestling a spinnaker in bass strait wasn't how I had planned to spend the weekend.

Still, the jayco fared much better than those in tents. Most ended up in cars and even sleeping in the toilet block. Lots of busted tents and awnings in the bin this morning.

Hope the cleanup is going well for those affected.

We were at east beach 2 min south of Kiama.  The place got a hammering but fortunately we must have missed the centre of the wind storm. Although judging by a few flattened tents in the morning some others did not fair as well as us.

Ha haa Evo, yeah we've had some good rain lately, hence also why I think the tree went over. I never water my grass. Yes there were certain storm warnings

looks as if they really coped it. We were suppose to be down there at Gerringong, but are stuck near Port Macquarie on a farm flooded in.

I hope that all are safe and well down there, so grateful that we were not camped down there, was bad enough the other night when the low hit here, though that the camper was going to be flipped on its side the wide was hitting it that hard.

My brother in law lives just a Km behind Kiama on the way to Jamberoo. He slept right through it and the first he knew about it was  when the SES stopped him from getting his coffee and paper from town.
