G'day from Vic
« on: May 02, 2016, 08:20:26 AM »
Hi,
New to this forum and have just ordered an Ultimate Xplor with pick up on 20th September.
My wife and youngest son (14YO) have done a lot of tent camping and covered most of Australia with our trusty old Southern cross tents. Our last trip was 3 months from Vic across to WA and exploring the south west area. now it's time for a few more luxuries and easier set up / pack up.
Hope to learn from members maybe catch up at some time.
Our first trip with the Ultimate will be when we pick it up and we have 2 weeks off which is unfortunately during school holiday times. Still could be worse and only have a couple of days off.

Cheers

Thanks for the welcome.
Not only are we buying the Ultimate, we'll also be buying a Prado to tow it with, so lots of questions about both as I'm new to 4WD's.
Need to review dual batteries, suspension, drawers, tyres, 4WD training courses etc. Lots to keep me busy.

Cheers
