My thoughts - first come first served

I think its sad when folks play the "my two boys have autism" or the "scattered ashes" card.
Lots of folks have similar situations...... stop trying to put a guilt trip on everyone.
Just imagine the phone conversation some of these campers had with the management.

I think, if ya snared the best posy for all this time, wouldn't it be nice to let someone else get a shot at it.

If they don't want to camp in a different spot, maybe they need to rethink if they really liked it that much in the first place.

All the reasons they give for why they should keep it are exactly the same reasons why they shouldn't, so it can be shared around. After all it is public property.

Wrong Jonesy...It is the age of entitlement and being at the centre of the universe....  Why share when for 20 years we have had our way and stuff the rest!!!

Maybe they consider it "their" public property...
Having lots of friends on farcebook is the same as having lots of money in monopoly...means absolutely nothing!!

And it's not the younger generation who are expecting it - it's those who are in their 50s and 60s...

I was talking to the neighbours dipsheet daughter about her full sleeve tattoo and how it looked (yukk in my opinion but didn't mention it that way).
She was really proud of it and it only cost her $1000 per inch! from a tattooist in rural Vic.
she has a house deposit on her that she will hate in 20 yrs time when she gets fat and saggy... WTF?

Dont agree with them assuming rights of privilege on public land but I suppose they are in their 50s and 60s cause they have been camping there for twenty years. INTFH

This was on Great South East or similar show a little while back - this couple, now in their 70s, came to this camping ground on their honeymoon, have been back every year since & are now there with their children & grand-children ::)

Sorry, because they obviously love it, but I can't see the thrill of going to the same site in the same park for 50+ years ???

Grand final weekend we go to the same caravan park in Whitfield and have down for a few years now. More for the same group of friends who we go with, and it keeps getting bigger.   Wineries, fishing, 4WD is what brings us back, not the park.
