G'day from WA
« on: August 25, 2013, 11:18:18 AM »
Hi Guys!!

My wife and I are about to enter the world of camper trailers so I thought I'd drop by and have a look around. There seems to be a fair deal of info on the site which I imagine will be of great assistance in the years to come...

We have 5 kids and are hoping to spend a fair amount of time off the beaten track with them, introducing them to the joys of camping, fishing and other outdoor activities :)

Look forward to getting to know some of you...

Jay

Welcome Jay and family, 5 kids are going to keep you on your toes for a few years, but what better way to enjoy them growing up.
Look forward to hearing about your trips and tours.  What CT do you have or are about to buy?

Hi @Ropes, we moved from Secret Harbour to Baldivis last year

Hi @Scarps and @Guey, we are looking at the Challenge Outback Deluxe

Hi @Barrabart and @berlitza, thanks for the welcome... I imagine the first few trips will be rather entertaining lol :) We are already planning a trip down to Cheyne's Beach in Albany for January next year.

I put a post in the 'My Camper' section detailing the setup we are planning to purchase, I'm hoping to get some feedback prior to purchase, in case we need to reassess any of the options we are looking at. We are certainly new to this whole thing and I'm a little concerned I may be overthinking it a bit :)

Cheers

LOL... Seing as how I'm an electrician, am I more likely to be horrified or addicted?

I have had a quick look at king billy's electrical mods and i'm pretty impressed with them
