Went in the $5.00 marina sweep and had horse number 6, Ovaltine, florentine or sumfin.

Anyway, the bugger won and so did i..... $80.00.  :cup: :cheers:

I put $100 on the nose of #7 $50 for a place #15
Might have a few quite ones tonight as I had to work through only stopping for the race
Only bet on one race a year

Had the winner, got the daily double with race 9 and decided to leave red cadeaux out my boxed trifecta at last minute. :'( had the others.
Oh also won 2 others for the day. Account looks good  :cheers:

About a minute after the race finished my phone rang with the Red Cross making a query about a blood bank donation. The nice lady said she was sorry to trouble me and I didn't have the heart to say can you hang on a sec while I listen to Damien Oliver.

i had 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th in my box trifectas and quinellas  :'( :'( always the story for me on cup day though, one or 2 get in the way of me winning  >:(
