I look at as the same as making available music and books. Shouldn’t be done without paying royalties, or similar.🤔

So when the artist post their own work on social media to promote their work, the social media platform has to pay them to host it.    Not only is it free advertising but now you expect the social media platform to pay someone for posting their work as well.   That just does not make any sense.
Cheers

Ah, I didn’t realise that SMH, Daily Mail, other newspapers, were posting their content online to drum up readership. My mistake sorry.
We've waited 45 years to do this. Now our life will be complete!!

I understand in other Countries that do have Google News, Google does pay other news agencies for the content that Google News uses on their platform, they just made an agreement with France  to that effect.   But I am unaware of a Google News Australia, when this all kicked off I recall something about Google News planning to come to Australia in the next year or so.  I may be wrong.

Most media do have their own pages on Facebook etc, but have their news items behind a paywall as well.   Not like the media to miss out on a dollar.

Started using DuckDuckGo.
:)
Apparently that’s a favorite for all of the anti-vaxers and conspiracy theorists.
Bill Gates can’t implant his tracking software in your brain if you use that one..... ::)

I accidentally met a real life anti-Vaxer a few months ago and I couldn’t escape before he told me all about Bill Gates’ evil plan to brainwash to whole world and infect them with his fake vaccinations.
All of the world’s governments are in on this plan and DuckDuckGo was the only way I was going to be safe from the surveillance software...... ;)

But it's way better than using Bing
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan. I miss being able to acces the little tracks off into the scrub.

Ahh.... sounds like you might need to have a chat with the anti-vaxer guy before the brain washing software is fully uploaded.... ;D ;D ;D

Of course I’m only joking with all of this.
Use whatever browser you like.
They are all pretty much the same and will track/use any data they collect on you however they feel like.

If you are proper paranoid about big brother watching you, then there are a handful of browsers that don’t do much with your data (such as DuckDuckGo).

Our President of the Lawrence Rodeo Committee lost his life last night in an incident with a Bull at Tamworth.
This is a huge shock to his family, The lawrence communittee & the Rodeo & campdraft communittee.
This bloke would give you the shirt off his back, RIP Greenie

Thanks mate, even tho I am a committee of the Lawrence Rodeo, Bruce was the driving force behind it, his dedication and love of helping people, hmmm.
He was also involved in the Sydney Easter Show, Brisbane Show, Campdraft on the North Coast, rodeo judging, the list goes on.

He was affectionately known as Brucie Fa%$en Green,  cause ever second word he used was, He called a Spade, A Spade.
He will be missed.
RIP Greenie.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has described her office's unlawful shredding of documents on awarding grants, including some potentially related to former Wagga MP Daryl Maguire, as a "misunderstanding".

If we can have Invasion Day marches........
If we can have BLM marches....................

Maybe its time we marched into the courthouses and demanded the ***** get locked up.

I can't wait until the day, when the little pricks kill a judges family......

its overdue... but you'd never get 'approval' for it.

“Tragically, and from advice from the family and ... the Queensland Ambulance Service, we understand that Katherine was pregnant,” he said.

Mr Codd said there was legal provision where a criminal, reckless or negligent act could result in a murder charge if a death was a “foreseeable consequence”.

He added there was also a provision under the Criminal Code for offences relating to the killing of unborn children that he said was “certainly something that we will be considering”.

Considering ???
