Hi debphil,

Welcome to the site.

Fridges are a never ending source of discussion here. You need to decide what it is you are going to do,where, how often and for how long and then decide whether to spend a small fortune or a large fortune on whatever type of fridge.

I've recently bought an evakool (after more research than was worthwhile) and love it.  But then again, anything that keeps my beer cool is loveable.

Hope the wait for the camper is bearable.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the CT. As for the fridge advice I guess the big question is how are you intending to camp? If it is just weekend stuff you will be fine with a good quality eski. You can even get away with an eski or two for longer periods if staying near an ice supply. That said there are some rules for keeping them cold and hygenic. If you are intending remote trips for longer than a couple of days then you need to look at a fridge (IMHO).

good luck with your decisions :)
