Good news for Alvey reel lovers
« on: April 20, 2018, 06:18:30 PM »
Century-old Queensland business Alvey Reels, which announced it would close its doors in mid-2017 due to poor sales, will stay open after a viral Facebook post spurred a flurry of orders from loyal customers, and attracted a new business partner.

I can remember as a kid using them to fish for blackfish in the King Parrot Ck near Flowerdale, Vic.  Great memories.
Having lots of friends on farcebook is the same as having lots of money in monopoly...means absolutely nothing!!
