Road Conditions websites?
« on: December 16, 2014, 09:30:19 AM »
We are heading off over the xmas break for a few weeks, wife has been asking me if theres any way of finding out road conditions so we can plan our drive to best avoid any issues.

I have one for NSW that gives some information https://www.livetraffic.com/desktop.html They also have an App for both android and ios but are not very good.

Is there something similar for the other states?

Thanks.

QLD has a traffic cam site too.
http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/traffic-cameras-by-location.aspx

I use my iPhone with google maps on it a bit.  Use the "traffic" option to see if there is any issues ahead.
Have been supprised by the number of people with google maps that didnt know about the google traffic option.  Works on desktop as well as mobile devices.

Hi NT has www.ntlis.nt.gov.au/roadreport

Racq used to have links to most states on their website but now only shows qld road reports, maybe someone else now has this info.
