My partner and I are looking for a hard floor forward folding off-road camper trailer. New or second hand (not too old preferably) and able to handle some off road adventures. Budget is around 17K But can stretch a bit more if something perfect comes along. Currently looking at a Mars spirit 2pac and a blue tongue XF series 2. Has any used these campers? Are they good? Any other recommendations? Have spent hours researching it's overwhelming as this is our first camper. It's just the two of us and our small dog so looking for something medium size, medium weight and quick to set up up. Thanks in advance crew, happy camping!

Have a look at the camper trailer of the year suggestions. Not sure of the prices of the various campers but it may give you some more ideas. https://www.campertraileraustralia.com.au/features/1801/camper-trailer-of-the-year-2018-intro (https://www.campertraileraustralia.com.au/features/1801/camper-trailer-of-the-year-2018-intro)
We looked at the Rosehill caravan show a few months ago, after looking at a few different brands they ended up all looking pretty much the same by the end of it

Awesome, appreciate the reply, good idea with the link, will check shortly.
I agree so hard to choose a camper, you'll only find out if it's any good or not once you've used it!

Looking at selling a two & half year old forward fold camper, happy to answer any questions. Have owned soft and hard floors for 20 years or so. Where are you located?

I'd say "Anything" of the year results are worth taking with a grain of salt... Like BMW X5 4x4 of the year once..

Thanks for your replies and your time guys. I've settled on the Mars Spirit, and by luck bumped into a mate whose done 30000 ks in his without any major drMas and loved it. Can't wait to get out camping again

Have a look at Austrack camper's (similar build, but few more goodies, I believe). I can personally vouch for their after sales service. There's an austrak social page on Facebook & I know there's a couple on there for sale
