Just started at my place, will see you on the other side. One good part is I got the day off work as no-one was wanting to work in what was forecast, lets see how right they get it. Maybe some shed time today is on the cards

My folks had 48mm in under an hour near Korumburra, I was working up the road from you today, Bruce, and it rained for about 20 minutes, and the car was dry when I left at 16:00

Go figure

must have rained more up north

Flooding from Victoria's super storm has closed parts of the Hume Freeway while residents in two townships have been told to evacuate as rivers bloated by heavy rain threaten to burst their banks.

Torrential rain lashed and battered the state's north-east overnight with residents in parts of Myrtleford and Buckland urged to flee as floodwaters continued to rise.

Yesterday wasn't too bad here in the end.  I think a total of about 60mm over the course of the day.

3 big downfalls about 10am, 2pm and again about 6pm, but the rest of the day was mainly drizzle.  Lots of water over roads in town.

Had to dump about 3000 litres out of the pool this morning as it was literally overflowing.

Very overcast now and another 10/20mm predicted for today so will see how we go

As of 7.30 am we had 80mm , blew like a bitch all day . Now the rain has started again . The pool was full to overflowing took 1/2 hour to drop the level . lts damp up this way but the floods haunt started as yet . Water will be pouring out of the hills to swell the rivers . There were a lot of trees down over the roads  kept the SES busy .
