We didn't get a single drop of rain sadly!
It has at least cooled of nicely though for me to cook the turkey & damper before it heats up again tomorrow.

The purple swirl must be what created the waterfalls at Uluru. Could be interesting camping in the Flinders Ranges ATM before it heads into Vic in a few days.

I'm no meteorologist, but looking at the wind/rain/pressure pattern on these, it looks like the storm cell in SA is splitting up and heading south. May not hit Vic at all.....

So you thought it rained a bit where you live from time to time.

The following quote is from the 1893 Brisbane flood records.

"For the first flood, Crohamhurst recorded an all-time Australian record of 914.4 mm of rain in a 24-hour period"

So you don't know where Crohamhurst is, "Crohamhurst is a rural community in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland"
I DON'T CARE HOW NICE THE HAND SOAP SMELLS.....

You should never walk out of the public toilets sniffing your fingers.

Could be more on the way coming through western Vic this afternoon
Having said that, looking at the current radar (and I'm no meteorologist), I'd be tipping a cancellation of the warning......

1klm section of road near dads prison is not only underwater, the kerb is under, and about 12-18inches of nature strip is under.. with dude on a surfski going north...
also the water is bubbling up out of the drains...
luckily the puddle in the shopping center carpark was only 8-12inch deep that I ran through making a bolt for the car during heavens display

you can tell mother nature is a woman....
