From Waz...

Beware guys. This was us yesterday on the walhalla road. We slowly passed a car and the road collapsed and we rolled. Fortunately the trees stopped us but a few meters either way and we would have kept rolling down mountain and this is on the main road between walhalla and Aberfeldy 5kms from Thomson bridge road. Cars also use this road.

This happened today in the Victorian High Country near Woods Point. A smaller car tried to move to the side to let us through but with all the rain we have had, the edges were too soft. I managed to squeeze past the oncoming the car, however our friends behind us weren't so lucky.
We managed to recover it by using 3 winches and plenty of recovery gear. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The winch motor on the Pathfinder worked pretty hard and needs a service. Came home with the cable wrapped around the bullbar.

it's ok, I've goggled the gps coordinates for knockwood and aligned it to the weather warning map. It turns out we'll be camping in the very south east corner of the north central district that's not marked red.  According to the chart, we'll be camping in a balmy 15° but 100m along the track it will be -2°.
So just need to put my swag in the right spot and we'll be sweet;D
