It was calm as here for a while, i was nearly going to start mixing some paint.

Then it arrived.... a small .... very small tree branch came off and skidded across the tin roof.
HOLY Shit.... if ya think rain on the roof can be loud.....  :D

What a noght, wind did not let up all night and we lost power at 10pm an its still off now. Driving to work was crazy, trees down everywhere (Bird has some fire wood just down the road) and the wind got the cruiser going all wobbly.

nice and calm again, no wind here today.

We did nearly bottom out at zero this morning, with a .08 of a degree and "feels like" of minus 1.9.

Warming up nicely now, a balmy 5.8 at present.

Pretty wet down here too. Couldn't get to work this morning due to the Thompson flooding. About half a k of road under water.

Jeez I've never seen Stringers creek like that before Bird. They've got a lot more coming too. Might need waders in the Star hotel tonight.
