Title: You can tell election coming, fed govt to pay for drivers lessons and test in WA

This appeared on the West Australian today.  Federal gov to pay for welfare recipients to have drivers licence lessons and test.  How much is that going to cost seeing need at least 50 hours of supervised driving before and after the lessons to past the test.  Subscription need to view article.   What next , will they pay for a car and running costs.  Morrison must be worried about losing seats over here in WA.

great opportunity to get a new car to claim on tax, and become a driving instructor...plenty of work coming AND a new car with all the accessories :)

Morrison is as popular as a turd in the punch bowl in WA.  Don't think it will help him.

Not wrong.  He doesnt win many over  but unfortunately Labor dont have anyone that can step up and run the country.  I think we would be stuffed if labor get in federally and that coming from a 40 odd year labor supporter.

Can't be too hard, going by some I've seen driving, especially on roundabouts!
