Whilst browsing the internet I came across this link for a Slide-on Camper (http://southcoastnsw.gumtree.com.au/c-Cars-Vehicles-Motorbikes-Parts-caravan-campervan-motor-home-Slid-on-Camper-W0QQAdIdZ231147860#).
For less than $10,000 it seems to be a very good price for a basic slide-on camper when compared to the more traditional units.
It weighs 180kgs and requires no setup, seems ideal for a couple to go touring in.
Granted it is not for those camping with kids.
Any thoughts - pros and cons on this setup?

looks good to me, if only it slept 5 ;D. If there were only 1 or 2, it looks like a top set up.

Hi,
looks good. It seems to be basically a full ute canopy set out with a sleeping area inside and kitchen out side.
I saw a similar size unit made by Islander Campers (http://www.islandercampers.com/cruise-n-snooze/cruise-n-snooze.htm) when I picked up my Innovan recently. The cruise-n-snooze is marketed towards fishermen wanting a light weight unit to carry gear for a few days in the bush, be able to tow a boat, and provide a warm dry sleeping space.
For that I suspect both units would be and excellent getaway, who cares if the fish aren't biting.
cheers

It seems to be similar to my slide on camper from https://www.decamper.com.au (https://www.decamper.com.au) it has been great so far.
