Another SEQ Trackabout
« on: February 09, 2012, 09:05:39 PM »

Been a Myswag viewer for over 12 months without posting - until tonight.

Camper is a Trackabout Safari and Truck is an 80 series cruiser used only for camping and weekend duties. A solid and reliable combination.

Favourite destination is Main Beach on North Straddie. Just hoping the transformation to being a National Park does not ruin it...............(don't ban dogs)

Will post this myself as I am hopeless taking photos and realise I don't have one of the camper.

Cheers

Hey PJ80,

Welcome.

Get the dogs over for their last visit(s). Noosa / Cooloola has just undergone the major tranformation in terms of permits etc and my poor blue is not allowed anywhere outside of Teewah up here. And rangers now crawl all over the place looking to fine people (and I am not having a go at them its just their directive from above) It's sad when you lose access to places the your best mates have enjoyed for so long.

Cheers
Nomad.

Thanks for the welcome. Sorry for the delay in replying to the questions I have been travelling (For work not pleasure unfortunately)

Hi PJ80, welcome to My Swag. Have you had the camper for long?

Trevor]

Hi Trevor - I bought the Trackabout (2007 Safari) secondhand last year as an upgrade for my existing soft floor camper which has now gone to a mate. Enjoying the extras the Trackabout has. It was in great condition and ticked all the boxes for us including 2 X 85 litre water tanks, water pump and full annex with the screen walls also.

Hi PJ80

[Welcome to Myswag.

Where will your next big trip be to?

Hi Jillsy,

Nothing really planned at this stage although we will get away at Easter for at least 7 days. Tend to do most of our trips during the winter months. In my opinion the best time in SEQ.

Clearly I have to learn how to close out the quote box. Will look into it.

Cheers
