Hello from Adelaide :)
« on: April 07, 2012, 09:18:54 AM »
Hey guys,

we've recently returned from a trip to coffin bay/port lincoln. At this point the only 4x4 we had was the Nissan Elgrand (great 4x4, no clearance! lol) so we got a few places in that national park that we probably shouldn't have. But we came home and decided that we needed a 4x4 and camper trailer. We've just made a deal on the 4x4 and are looking into campers.

Have already got some great information from this forum, looking forward to being apart of it.

Leanne & Jarrod.

G'day & Welcome Leanne & Jarrod.

What 4wby have you chosen? Good luck in your camper search, there are some terrific 2nd hand units available as well as local manufacturers in SA, plus heaps more to choose from. That is the hard bit, but exciting.

Welcome.  We were lucky enough to spend a few days in the Port Lincoln Nation Park in our travels in 2009, had a fantastic spot right beside a beach.  Have to go back one day, but there are just so many fantastic places to go.  8)  Kevin

Thanks everyone. We have a little love affair going on with Nissans atm so we've gotten a Ti Pathfinder. Jarrod is already spending all his time on the iPad looking at 'upgrades' he can do  ;D.

As for the trailer, I think we've settled on the Xtrail Navigator. Not a huge amount of information out there from owners though, so still not 100%.

Welcome to the Forum Leanne and Jarrod, the xtrail's are not a bad unit, have helped put one up one day, just a few too many poles on the annex for a full set up
