New Ct buyer but long time tenters
« on: May 25, 2011, 02:58:16 PM »
Hi we are from newcastle area and new to the camper trailer scene however have been tenting for may years. Have decided to purchase an ebay special for a first timer as we figure if we have the trailer  we can always update the tent to a better one.

Just thought i'd say hello all.

G'day & Welcome.

What will you be dragging this camper around with? Where do you like to go?

G'day Dave, we've done a similar thing. Been tenting for ages and now looking forward to the extra storage, comfort and convenience you get from a CT.

What were your motives for upgrading to a trailer from a tent?

Jason.

Hi all

Smocky  motivation to upgrade was the addition of 2 kids (now 3.5yr and 16mnths) to the family.

We will be dragging it around with a 1991 2.8 hilux dual cab with turbo. or for the not so offroad sections a nice and comfy vz commodore.

We are in scouting so it will take us anywhere but looking at a cape trip mid 2012 or 13.

already planning my first mod by making the led strip lights. however its a bit hard when i haven't picked the trailer up yet lol

Welcome to Myswag Davenmarcia and congrats on upgrading to a camper trailer.
Hubby and I have been tent campers for years and recently bought a ct and we just love it.
Just love having it all packed ready to go - throw in some food and clothes and you're off.  So much easier.
Enjoy yours when you get it.  You won't regret the decision.
Cheers
Sharyn  :D
