Just being doing some more work for the trip and wanted to check what's happening up there at the moment so thought you might want to keep an eye on them too:

Has anybody else been noticing how cold it has been out there lately?  Went and bought a gas heater yesterday and packed some more woollies.   Brrrrrrr

Hi guys, we are out here at Yulara tonight having come down from Kings Canyon and the Mereenie. It has been beautiful sunny weather but a touch coolish at times. Mornings and evenings are chilly. I would have packed a few pairs of trackies had I known. The loop road is in OK nick, better closer to KC than Alice. We averaged 80 km per hour.

The final 50kms into Mt Dare - now that was a dirt road!!!!
