Yep, show ya back yard off time.

Now for those who like to garden with Roundup and Gravel please hit the back button now...    ;D

To kick it off, here is some of my handy work.
First the front.
The drive way is fenced of so kids can't escape and get ran over. Gates are to get to wash cars on the front yard.

Now for the back, I had someone make the patio and glass fence, but I did the rest. Below the timber decking is a curtain style water fall, best bit is, I didn't pay the $1600 the thieves wanted, I paid about $30 and built my own.  :cup:

This is the west side, I made this to keep it cooler, and have a nice place to sit for breaky in summer.

Now the mango tree, its almost ready, will be for a day after I go back to work..... >:(

As I am guilty is stealing a few of these ideas from the interweb, thought it be good to put some back to share.
Yes I know, I should spend more time under canvas.....

Mate, that looks great! The only thing I'd be a bit worried about is that Mozzies love mango trees.

They sit on plastic and that is it, sometimes I shuffle them about a bit to line them up again.

Not much of a problem here, more bats then anything else. OH, and birds fighting over the shade on a hot day as it seems to be always cool in the canopy.

I grow weeds in the garden, unfortunately not even the weeds you can sell.

I forgot to run the lawnmower over the garden this week

Typical QLD'er, pool, bright green grass, sunshine. Mate i'm in Melbourne and my yard is either soaking wet from pissing rain or yellow from 42' weather all summer.
