Eli Creek BBQ
« on: March 02, 2012, 09:44:48 AM »
Looking at taking the Weber Q and some shade up to Eli Creek for a day trip for a BBQ lunch and a swim. There are toilets and a boardwalk that goes a couple of hundred meters up the creek. From there you can launch your flotation device and ride the creek all the way to the mouth.

New rules for Eli Creek ........

Eli Creek altered conditions: For improved visitor safety, rangers will be installing signage to permanently prevent vehicle parking on the western side of Eli Creek. This area is being allocated as a ‘vehicle free zone’ in which people can recreate without threat of vehicle strike. Please observe and obey all signage.

I'll bring my 4.5mx3m gazebo along. Last time we were there we set up in the creek itself. I think we made the cover of 4WDA and get another run every time they do anything on Fraser.
