Camper, Van, Boat Vehicle Transport
« on: July 10, 2019, 09:39:38 AM »
Hi Ya Swaggers.
I'm running about the country side in this these days, and managing to camp in a few nice spots also.
Anyway, this trailer is set up to winch on and off safely without harm all the vehcles pictured below.
I am working for a Sth East Qld firm, but do have spare time, or space on board here and there.
The rig is mine, I am FULLY insured, many owner opperators are not, and have a Tow Licence.

If you have something stuck, or need a camper, Tinny etc, shifted A - B, give me a call. I may be able to help.
Keep in mind, this is a commercial venture I am offering, a bit more then a small favour. However, I may be able to help with the small sized swag mail type favours as well.
Call me to see where I am going to or from, areas covered so far are between Port Lincoln and Mt Gambier, Barcaldine, Cairns, Nowra and Melbourne.

0417 782 785
Cheers
Dave

Weeds, all good, forigne orders are OK. Boss encourages it, especially to fill a spot. He sees it as a way to ensure we're earning a quid and can keep tbe gear rolling in good order.

For me to do a trip, such as 3 trailers out of Vic, its ok.
Or
I can fill a spot like now, I have space out of Gladstone to Mackay.

Had a very nice Impalla on today, sounded even better....

Its best to give me a call if you want to make a query as I can gas bag when driving easy enough, just can't type.
If i don't answer, send a sms.

Hi Dave  not sure you can help but I past on your number in any case to Vic Widman from Great Divide Tours as he is trying to get a  81 model Subaru transported. Vic posted up on the below Facebook message seeking assistance .

During our isolation I’m thinking of all the great places we will be taking our tours to when we are permitted to travel again. This one is from my trip up Cape York in 1981! Yes, that's me in a Subaru crossing Cockatoo creek. We lead Cape York tours every year and in 2021 as well as our usual 20 day tagalong I will be embarking on a very special 40th anniversary trip in another old Subaru, just bought it last night at auction. Over the next 15 months the virtual wreck of a Subie bought for just $1300 will be rebuilt by the amazing team at Artarmon Automotive and carry me and Tony (bottom right of the photo, old mate of mine since 1974, now in his 70's!) O course you will be able to follow the rebuild and trip preparations right here. My first challenge is to get the Subie from Melbourne at Grays auctions up to Sydney, anyone know a car carrier?
