Has anyone have any knowledge of "Dashlane Password Manager" or is currently using it.

I came across it in an advertisement on facebook. It is a Freebie as well.

I have dashlane for a short time and it seems OK.
You will have to pay if you want password control across multiple devices. And if you use its auto password generator, you will end up with no choice.

have been using lastpass for years now... works a treat...

aWallet Cloud on my phone. Auto back up to cloud location of your choice, configurable categories and fields, use your own password or use the generator, integrates with the copy text function on the phone for user name and password with a single click. Has worked well for a few years now.

I just use Chrome, probably not as secure as some other options, but it's convenient.

I have an a4 page full of logins and passwords for all the stuff I need. Or is that too old fashioned way of doing things ?

LastPass with browser extension for me (on both Chrome and Firefox). It has a mobile client too (that sync's, obviously) and I can use the fingerprint sensor on my phone to unlock it. Not open source, but still good.
Check KeePassX for something free and open source. I've heard good things and been meaning to give it a try for a while now.

I use keepass, free and easy to use. After Lastpass's last security breach, a people I know moved over to keepass. Best part about keepass is that its not cloud based!

i was an avid user of KeePass, but found LastPass, with its ability to be used on the mobile and browsers almost seamlessly, to be a bit more useful...

I use it :cup: :cheers:. originally for freebie then I paid the subscription to allow a lot more applications requiring passwords. The paid Dashlane also syncs to my phone and other two tablets. Make life easy to only have to remember one password.

Look at Bitwarden. It’s free, open source and you can host the data yourself if you want.
Easy to use on all my computers and devices.

Another KeePass user here. The database itself is encrypted and I store this in the cloud and sync between multiple devices.

Yeah I've used Dashlane for about a year now. Is great for keeping track of everything, and finally have decent passwords for everything as I don't have to remember them anymore..

One company gets paid to check companies internet security. They have a 100% success rate of hacking into the companies systems.

Good time to check your passwords and email etc.

Wife is with Optus, rec their email stating some of her information had been accessed, spent two hours yesterday changing every conceivable password. SA govt is allowing Optus clients who have been affected to change their licensing details free of charge, wife went to Services SA today and they were fantastic, before opening she was number 569 in the line, less than an hour later she was home, all done. Fantastic.
Auto payments changed and two factor authentications used wherever possible.
