Recently reformed tenters from Qld
« on: April 25, 2014, 06:26:52 PM »
Hello All
We converted to a camper trailer for family friendly camping about 6 months ago. Lurking on myswag  was quite helpful in the decision making process and working our way through whats out there. I'm happy to say the transition is going well and we are not experiencing too many withdrawal symptoms sleeping on an inner spring mattress rather than the trusty 3/4 length thermarest lite.

We have blogged some of the progression to camper trailer so far, its a few minutes of your life you may never get back though ;)

21 nights in the CT so far and counting, best to all,

Welcome Dan, I'm like you, I don't miss my thermarest mattress. As you have seen lots of good ideas kicking around on this forum.

How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?  (Homer J Simpson).

A bit like a mountain hut in a storm ;)
(remembering Kia Ora hut in a hail stone some years back, where the tables were cleared after dinner for bunk bed style sleeping )
