Newbies from Melbourne

Hi! We've had our o/r Camel camper trailer for almost a year and having a ball getting away free camping all over Victoria! We're hoping to meet other campers who might be like us (mid 50s, empty nesters - and one spoilt greyhound!) to meet up with or even organise regular getaways. Camping is always more fun with friends but none of ours are really into the great outdoors :( so we thought we'd put the feelers out. Also looking forward to getting lots of info and tips from this site!! Cheers

Welcome to myswag wenrob, great to have you on board. There's regular Vic trips so watch this space. There's a group of us heading to Corryong this weekend if you search 'Southern Australian Gathering' you're welcome to join us.

This weekend is in a CP so that we were guaranteed sites, but most other trips are in free camp areas.

Thanks scarpsD40 and KB. Can't make this weekend unfortunately, just got home from Tambo River a week ago but we will definitely watch this space!! :):)
