what do people use for annex flooring. have been using an old piece of shade cloth. thought about buying a proper shade cloth floor with eyelets for pegging but before I do thought I'd check whether any of you MySwag geniuses have any other better ideas.

We use a CGear matt as well. It is a good bit of gear.

CGear for us aswell. When our youngest was 8 months and it was raining heaps we got a tarp and placed iton top of the annex base that runs down off the walls and no water at all good for the young bloke to hve more room to crawl around.

We use the Oztrail Ultramesh. (Shade Cloth)
Comes in a variety of sizes, edged, eyelets and pegs.
Cheap as chips.

I didn't like walking on the Cgear in bare feet but found no problem with the Ultramesh. (Must be my poor little tender feet :'( :'( :'()

We use Foam Annexe Matting. It can be expensive if you don't shop around. Surprisingly tough and lush under your feet.
I can get this stuff wholesale, the shops are selling it three times the cost price... >:D

We use a rubber/silicon mesh matting. We also use those interconnecting soft matts under the tent section which folds out.
-
CGear matting as well........................expensive but it does what it's ment to.

I use CGear as well, It has been all over the place on many different terrain. The only issue i had was when a fried egg jumped out of the frying pan and burnt a hole in the matt....call it "operator errror". That was in the Bungles.
It can be slippery so be careful of that.

I use 80% shade cloth because I had a 100m roll of it. Just cut it to size and had upholsterer hem the edges and add eyelets to peg down. WE use the same under the tent floor.

Went to buy a CGear mat this morning from local disposals store - $300 :o :o
Popped into local sail-maker, showed him what they're like, and he's making one for half the cost (double layered, edged same etc).
No pretty storage bag, but I'm happy to chuck it in the trailer as-is rather than pay that!
(I know, there's another thread for me.... ;D)
Hope to test it out soon.
Cheers,

Another vote for here CGear - Despite my protests the Missus wanted it, so we picked it up the other day when visiting Brisbane & took it back to camp, just before it started to pour. >:(
Well I'm man enough to admit that she was right again!! :'(
It's a great camping product & well worth the dough if you can afford it.
Happy trails - Wayne
