Me too, for 3 days now. One would think that if they had problems that they would let members know. Just saying. Maybe the roamers are correct!!

Got banned yrs ago.....one of the mods didn't like a bit of his own back...alright to give it out, but he didn't like it back...

But it was a good source of info on the cruiser.

Still down this morning, a great site, just difficult to navigate and post on. Us mods over here are much more friendly  ;D

Over there, no warning, your account is frozen for good. The mod actually got stuck into me with what I thought was abuse over a normal type post, so I stuck it back at him.

Yep, even the elect section here is good compared to there.

Yes it's a great source of tech info. My biggest gripe is the stock answer "There's plenty of existing threads on that topic.." It would have to have the most user UNfriendly search facility I've ever come across. They will happily point you at a 30 plus page thread and say "There's your answer" and summarily lock your thread. Then you spend hours wading through it to find some obscure reference to something similar to your question that doesn't actually answer you. If you then have the temerity to post another thread seeking more information then as often as not it just gets deleted before anyone but the mods see it :(
Talk about a bunch of keyboard Nazi's..

It would appear that you are the only user, nobody else can get on. Care to share how you can still get access??

I gave up asking questions there years ago.
If you were not belittled for asking, you were told to search.
And God help you if questioned a Mod.
Now, saying that, there is one good mod, he is a Swagger, good on ya for your help/honest answers and for being a champ.
Cheers

If you're using a saved shortcut to get to the forum then it doesn't work. If you type lcool.org into your address bar you can get to the home page. If you then click on "technical" you'll get to the forum index page, but the 200 series page is missing.

I stand corrected, but from memory there has never been a link to the 200 series on that page. Why, I do not know, but I remember quite some time ago looking there and noticed that there was no mention or link to the 200 series. Why? I have no idea !! I sent admin@lcool.org an email to see what sort of reply I might get, but i'm tipping it will fall on deaf ears.

EDIT: I take it back !!  I have just received a reply from LCOOL Admin (from who I would say is the most helpful and considerate moderator on the site)

"Thanks for contacting the LCOOL admin team. There is an issue with the forum at the moment, and this is currently being investigated. We will endeavour to get the site back up and running again.  Please be patient and we hope the site will be back again soon."

Thanks MrCruza .
But I think people are after the actual Forum. Your suggestion takes you to the Technical page as stated. People are wanting the Forum I believe, me included.

Around early December from memory? I sent another email to the admin @ LCOOL and received a reply a few days later. For the life of me. I cannot find that email, but in essence (and I paraphrase) the reply was that it would hopefully be only a few weeks before theyanticipated having the site up and running again. That time frame has been and gone, but fingers crossed it will be resurrected sooner than later.
