Title: Packing clothes - the entire wardrobe or not?
Post by: richo36 on April 06, 2018, 08:21:32 PM
Need guidance from the gala I suspect. I ALWAYS pack too much which ends up annoying me. I read somewhere ... camping for a month = 3 bottoms, 5 tips, 2 dresses. Too little for triple time? HELP?

Hi Lyn,

I’m taking 7 days worth of clothes and 2 going out outfits... We should be able to wash clothes weekly... 👚👖👗👙🧦🧢👟🧥

Make sure to have some warm clothes for cool nights 😉

I hope that helps,

Penny ??

Most importantly....

A SPARE pair of thongs. Lots of uneven walking seems to destroy them.

Then i small bag about the same size for a airplane carry on bag.
What doesn't fit in that doesn't go..

I'm with these guys!!   Then a small bag with the emergency set in it (including pyjamas) and tooth brush/ tooth paste etc; stashed in the bottom of the car somewhere... just in case of "an emergency".
Last year we went into Alice Springs to take care of some business.  It was meant to be a day trip (just a 950 km round trip from where we were staying) but were forced by unforseen circumstances to overnight in Alice.  .... those little emergency bags earned their place that trip!!!

You will find you don't need as many clothes as you think... just layer up and a good jacket for cool/cold evenings....

Cheers
