Having dinner and a few beers at the Whim Creek Pub on our way to Broome.
If you have a meal here, you can free camp in the car park and have a free shower! Great value and a nice pub to stop at between Karratha and Port Hedland.
top little pub, always need a toilet stop and a refill 🍻 on the way from Karratha. Great well priced feed too
if i dont need 4wd, i ain't going!!!

Camped at a lookout above Home Valley stn on the Gibb River Rd. Only place on the whole Rd where you can get a mobile signal. No one else around except 1000s of bugs!
Plenty of stars and the moon is about to show its face. Heading west tomorrow. Love it.

Lunch at the Whalesong Cafe, near Middle Lagoon, Cape Leveque

Unbelievable, middle of nowhere and its a little bit of paradise.

Cheers Glen
