4WD learning course Melbourne
« on: January 03, 2018, 01:42:30 PM »
Interested in doing a 1 day 4WD basic course in Melbourne.

Google search came up with 4-5 different places/companies that run them which seems a lot.

Any recommendations on getting the best value for knowledge and experience?

Cheers

It depends what you want out of it and what area of Melbourne you are in.

Most 4wd clubs offer driver training as part of membership.

Our club runs driver training by qualified instructors... 1 night of theory and a weekend around Little O'Tooles campground .. social night on the Saturday.

But most clubs do similar.

join a 4WD club

Good training usually included in fees and you get to go along on club drives with others

Getting there if half the fun

The other half is a cold beer when you do.

Go see Jim at Safetrek, he’s been training people how to drive for years and is a great bloke too.

Oh and he owns/runs the Black Spur pub in Narby where he runs the courses from.
