California and EV Heaven- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MXzxHc0dWo

They have more chargers but then they also have lots more EVs clogging them up and that will always be the problem as there's no real economic case for most public chargers. (Tesla already worked that out). So that only really leaves city slickers with offstreet parking and charging and no doubt why there's now over 550 used Model3 Teslas predominantly by private sellers on Carsales (2019s from $37000 asking price and dropping)  :'(

Depreciation is killing EVs to boot so it's a 10 month estimated order wait for the missus new Corolla Cross hybrid shopping trolley but I'm not holding my breath if that blows out as her petrol Kia is only 3 yrs old and isn't going anywhere. Bowen and Co are smoking something they shouldn't.

So it's the same in Europe as it is in the US right now as word gets around- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uuz3UQpiqQE

Home made pivoting fridge slide. Bolts to the inside wall of trailer. This bit is 1800mm long and 400mm high.  The fridge base is 1040mm long by 420mm wide.
Home made slide out kitchen. 2000mm long by 400mm or so the other dimensions. Well used. Will need new drawers. The old ones were from office works. It works. Probably still contains some red dust.
Located Redland city near Brisbane.

Hi,
Those escarpments to your west look impressive. Interesting looking country/geology.
Cheers.

the road in runs through Jasper Gorge... OMG. stunning country. Or rather... it is when you're not rushing with 5 other vehicles (and some driven by 4wd novices) and rushing to beat the rain storm that you can see coming in.

not had a chance to explore to the west due the state of the ground being so soggy. Once it dries up a bit... we'll get there.

Has anyone seen Just a Farmer?

https://www.justafarmer.net/

From a review:
'Australian Made' Movies
An important Australian Made local movie - a Must See for all!
I previewed 'Just A Farmer' recently. Its a movie you will think about into the future. It certainly achieves it goal - to raise awareness of the plight of our Farmers.
It deals with what has been a difficult subject  for our community - Don't be put off by this - I personally recommend for every mature person to see it.
The movie is Rated M - Can be viewed by all ages.
Mature themes, suicide themes and coarse language.

and also

"Just A Farmer" transcends traditional cinema, authentically portraying the challenges and triumphs of a resilient farmer in rural Australia.
This cinematic journey amplifies the often-overlooked voices of rural communities and sheds light on mental health struggles.
It's more than a movie; it's a dedicated movement creating awareness, dismantling stigmas, and impacting the well-being of rural Australia.
"Just A Farmer" breaks new ground, fostering understanding and assuring individuals they don't face darkness alone

Wife complained that there was a funny noise coming from the back of the Vw Jetta.
Pulled off the rear wheels, 1 pad was metal to metal, the other 3 had 6 or 7mm left.
Fortunately not much damage to the disk.
Replaced all rear pads with new bending euro pads. Cleaned all the components, re-greased all the slide pins and re assembled. It’s good now.
Next week I will have to do the oil and filters. I will also check the front brakes and rotate the tyres.

Apologies just realised that I put this in the 2023 post.
Anyway seems like a great price for anyone looking to upgrade.

Might be an idea to replace those red inline fuses. They have a strange habit of melting with a intact fuse left.

Thanks, would a midi fuse be a better option?
