General Discussion / Re: Interesting read on electric cars

So more exciting EV news with Tritium down the gurgler and Tesla pulling back on the economics of chargers now we have Freewire down the plughole-
https://electrek.co/2024/05/05/freewire-closes-its-hq-and-lays-off-just-about-everyone/

So much for Made in Australia and all those Green jobs with picking winners on the taxpayer dime or membership slushfunds-
“We need to innovate, think outside the box and investigate all potential solutions to give us the best possible chance at building a network that is fit-for-purpose."
https://thedriven.io/2023/12/21/nrma-rolls-out-its-first-battery-backed-and-fastest-dc-chargers/
That was never going to fly charging up the charger battery low and slow and letting EVs suck it dry high and fast in order to get around the awful cost of getting the required power there in the first place. Never mind rational physics and economics it all runs on feelings and e-motion nowadays and nut-zero here we come.

The sooner the woke mob and lefty dogooders acept the fact that that 12-16yr olds know right from wrong and react accordingly, the better off society is without them!  >:D

tend to spend on the more expensive products & maybe for that reason I’ve been happy with the items I’ve purchased to date.

Scarborough, Perth, WA.
Catching up with our middle child.

Not technically camping, although we are sleeping on a pull out lounge.

Much later than I expected.... But, Click & Collect is finally here!  AS well as Gift Cards that can be bought online, redeemed instore.  Or bought in-store and redeemed online.

Ended up being a much bigger project than anticipated.  Sorry it's taken so long!
no need to be sorry... things take time and you got there in the end.
