Thanks guys, we were working with a fairly tight budget, and picked up an ezytrail from eBay for a really good price.
I know it's not the fanciest weapon on the tracks, but being reasonably mechanically minded, and coming from a metalwork background, I think I'm in a fairly good position to modify my way to something awesome.
It's not something I jumped into, I researched as much as I could about budget trailers before I bit the bullet and inspected their range in the Kilsyth factory before laying down the coin.

I'm currently elbows deep designing and installing the electrical system in preperation for its maiden trip.

Cheers again,
  Steve

Welcome Steve to Myswag,
Bet your looking forward to getting the new CT out there.
Lurk through the Electrical section, but post at your own peril.
Good luck,

Howdy Steve-oh,

Beauty, another EzyTrail swagger. Missus and I love ours. What model did you get? Ours is the full galv off-road. Don't forget to post up pics of your electrical mods.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, and marschy, I actually stumbled onto this site through your electrical thread, lol.
We got the upgraded offroad model, electrical, plans at this stage see a marine type battery box bolted on top of the near side mudguard, and I think I'll fold up an enclosure on the far side guard for a charger, fuse block etc... I done the fat prick stand and jump test and the mudguard is more than strong enough I think.

Cheers,
Steve.

G'day Steve-oh,

Did you use an ADR approved fat prick stand and jump test? Is there a video guide to this test as I would like to incorporate it into my 'get the wife and kids to test my electrical mods' test.

Cheers, Marschy
