Hi all
Been snooping around for a little while now, but thought it was best to get amongst the action.

We are relatively new to the camping experience and loving it, despite a few issues with our CT....lower market end, but suited our budget.

So will be looking for some advice shortly on our CT, but loathe to name it at the moment as we are going to see the dealer about it. I am sure they lurk around these forums. We are almost at the point of going to Consumer affairs....eeek  ???

We dont go 4wd and have no intention, I am a scaredy cat, we drive a standard family sedan.

Looking forward to getting into the forum  ;D

G'day :)
Hope the "few issues" don't end up souring it for you. We're only new 2 it all ourselves, but can already tell we should've done it sooner  ;D
Good luck sorting it all, I'm sure if you get stuck - or think you may be getting the short end, someone here'll have advice

Welcome to Myswag.  It's always disappointing when you buy something and a few problems appear, and even worse when the manufacturer is hesitant to rectify the problems.  Hopefully you can get all the problems sorted without too much angst, which will allow you to get out and about and appreciate it.

There are plenty of spots out there which can be reached with the family sedan, so we're looking forward to seeing or hearing about your travels as they happen.

Hello everyone

Thanks for your replies, thought i was going to log in and see nothing  :'(

We are about to head off to the dealer now and have a little chat. Main issues with the design of the annexe joining the main section and pooling water, therefore leaking. However it has already had one repair to flywire and prior to picking it up again noticed another hole.....MMMM should be interesting. Will update you all later.

Just a hint, it is not a GIC/ Mario, but that end of the market...

:D Welcome to the site.  As others have said I hope the issues don't sour the experience of camping.  It's not the price of the camper which matters but the enjoyment you get.  Once you get the bug and start seeing this wide land the infection will start and sad to say eventually I fear the s/wagon may grow somewhat  >:D.  But all in the fullness of time, no need to rush, plenty to see before then.
Have fun and best of luck
Paul

Yep we definitely have the bug!! We have just booked our Easter jaunt to the NE of Vic ( Love that area)

Anyway spoke to the dealer we bought from and I swear he seems like his has NFI. We will give him a week to get back to us with the issues and if there is no resolution...well I dont know what.

A couple of q's with seasoning the canvas...how many times do we need to it? We gave it a light sprinkle, then our last trip it leaked like a banshee and pooled water. We have since run some wax over the areas and it has now fully dried in our garage and living room. Do we need to seal again with wax?

The next thing, is what do you do with a bike rack? Do you just buy an a-frame rack and hitch to the tow bar? or is it better to getting another tow bar put on the back of the trailer?

Electric brakes....i am sure we need them and infact we are getting them, but what is the go with them? How much do they usually cost, we drive an Aurion?

Sorry so many questions

Thanks for your help :)
