Western Australia's, West Coast Adventure 2022
« on: July 05, 2018, 01:49:05 PM »
Yes I know, someone shoot me. Another McGirr Adventure.

After an incredible trip with members tackling the Kimberely this year, we chatted about a trip from Broome to Esperance and exploring the west coast of WA.

It will not be until 2022 and will be timing it with the wild flowers along the coast as well as visiting other places. We have roughly over 3 years to plan it.
http://viewer.e-digitaleditions.com/i/959040-wildflower-guide-2018/0?

I will not be asking for any interest as yet as we are still deciding the time factor in doing a trip this big and also the dates.

Mark

Ps Garrick can you put this up on the child board.

After doing the Kimberly with you and checking out the wildflowers on the way home, I'm sure this will be a great trip  :cup:

The rough time frame traveling would be between 4 to 6 months. We want to be around the areas between May to October for the wildflowers and swimming with the whale sharks if possible.

Mark, that would clash with the National Meet.

Apologies for the changes again but after discussions with Penny we are back on track to tackle the West in 2022.

As we have not spent a Xmas with family since December 2014, we have always been in remote areas working, we have decided that we will take December 2021 till July 2022 off work so that we can catch up with family for a Xmas and then head off in Feb 2022 for 4 or 5 months exploring WA.

Again apologies for the changes.
