A couple of years ago I bought a second hand Drop slide of another forum member. It was great it enabled even the little ones to get the fridge out of the back of the car and get stuff out of it.

Sadly late last year the back of the lock snapped (a diecast part) and I could no longer lock the slide in the back of the car. I took the lock out and tried a couple of local lock smiths, none could help me. So I emailed MSA and asked if I could buy a new lock.

They supplied one for free,

Top notch service in my opinion.

Good to hear stories like this.

In 1989 I remember going to a news agency at Pacific Fair asking the young sales assistant if they had a certain mag, "I just work here" was the reply.
I still remember that till this day.
It was probably a Thursday.


Now days,  86.3% of the time when sales staff think I can't read the box or they can't help me I ask, "do you just work here?" & unbelievably 86.3% of the time they say "yeh", & more unbelievable it is usually a Thursday.
