Sounds a bit like wag I was thinking. My grandparents for years use to heat their water by having a copper coil in the fire.
Don't complain! It could be worse, you could be six foot under or a brick of ashes!!

Nice woolgoolgaoffroad. Water restrictions hey, It might work at home on my teenage son. Not sure why he spends so long in the shower ;D.

Got bored today and thought, how can i utilise a 12 volt shower and a jerry can for better water usage when away.
Well I raided the shed and with a couple of different pipe fittings, hose clamps and a bit of tubing - it works. Just push the clear pipe onto a plastic tap off any jerry can, plug in your 12 volt - and shower away. This way i can tell the daughter that once your 10litres is gone- ITS GOOOOOOOONE !!!!

But my 12V shower pump just drops in the top of the jerry.  Didn't your pump fit?

hi guys, im just about to build my bilge shower setup and as always after i bought the bilge pump i find it on special so thought i should let others know: Whitworths marine 500gph pump is 24.95 and its the Rule brand (good).
im adding an inline filter from the retic aisle at bunnings :D

This is my finished version with quick release hose connection. Works well. I wash the dog with it too :D
