Hi All,

Looking for my first camper ASAP, this weather is too good at the moment and want to get out side!

I have a family of 5 and looking for a soft floor camper trailer around the $8-10K mark. I want to stick to Australian made due to canvas and build, the main brands I am looking are customline, lifestyle 360, camel, complete campsite. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

I am looking for something the provide a good base, ie. power and kitchen, the rest I gather I will build up over time.

Cheers!

If want good aussie made soft floor, you can't go past a Trackabout. They are bullet proof, both in canvas/tent quality and design and in the quality of the off road trailer. May not have some of thr bell and whistles as some others but they are rock solid.

x3. Love ours. Solid and dependable. Only downside for you, but upside for me is they hold their value because of their quality and reputation;D

If this was an easy question, we would all have the same make/model camper.

Do some research, choose one that ticks all YOUR boxes and make the most of it.

There are so many posts of those that bought THEIR camper and still had to make some minor changes/improvements.

With a family of 5, you may need a 12ft tent and not a 9ft tent.....
