Hows your Techni Ice fridge going?

I am wondering if anyone who has one of the Techni Ice fridges could let me know what they think of them? I am in the market for a 12V fridge and from what I can tell these units seem to be good value for money, they are currently out of stock so plenty of people must be buying them.

Whilst the old saying you get what you pay for is in the back of my mind and I suspect that these units will use more power than the dearer brands they seem to be pretty good value, they also have a 2 year full warranty and some extras thrown in.

Excellent. We have the 30L and used it recently for 10 nights (mostly as a freezer). For the money, unbeatable in my opinion.

Yeah, we have an 45 lt Evakool Travelmate, its the same dog with a different collar. Ours has performed above and beyond the call of duty, and averages less than one amp per hour.

More than happy with our purchase.

I bought the 60lt and think it's brilliant set it and my 65lt Weaco to -10 for a bit of a comparison and it took the Techni ice 15 min longer to get to temp pretty good for the price difference

I have the 60L and think its well made, holds temp well and doesn't use much power. Honestly for what I paid for it I think it is possibly the best thing I have bought to date.
Highly recommend them.

Thanks for the replies , a few people on this forum have picked these units up of fleabay even cheaper than the price on there site.

It sounds like they run well so for the price I think ill bid on a few and see how I go, thier site says they are expecting a new shipment early August.
