When I installed mine, I used a step drill which made it very easy.

Thanks Wilsurf,

I'm curious as to whether a Rivnut/Nutsert would substitute for the Mounting plates Milford provide?
If anyone out there has run it past an Engineer?
It would make things so much easier.
