Measuring up the slab our van sits on, to hopefully put a carport over it.

Walked into my shed,
Stared at the fishing tubs & boxes of empties and thought,
The virus things needs to buggar off, I'm running out floor space.

About 15 years ago I built this bench for our Beefeater. It's free standing, but designed to fit into the corner beside the kitchen bay window. The bench top is reclaimed cherrywood from a timber scrap yard, the posts were hardwood off-cuts from the house build that I had lying around, and the rest is just random off-cuts from the shed project pile.
That looks perfect... got the plans?

Even some closeup pics and measurements?

In particular, the area that the bbq is sitting in?

Knocked this up out of a scrap piece of 190x35 pine a bit over 400 long. The scrap had been lying around the side and bit battered from using as a chock, impromptu hammer and never got around to throwing in the wood pile.
Showed it to my son who has only done a bit of woodwork at school and apparently "it's all wrong". Handle too long, head too wide, head not long enough, angles wrong weight is wrong....

Smack his knuckles or head with it, then ask him if it works ok, even with so many issue's in the design and build.

So the shed tidy up involved a trip to the tip, in that load I threw the old firepit as the leg supports were rusted., but that has meant no fire for the last week or so. I have always wondered if the 3mm perforated aluminium sheet that my brother left here over 10yrs ago would work for a firepit, or if the aluminium would melt due to the heat.

Well, tonight I get to find out, I think it will look better once the white powder coast burns off (before it possibly melts  :o), the bass is stainless from the camper kitchen from when made the cutout for the stove. All things considered it cost me nothing but time

Pulled a stump out and painted a second coat of stain/varnish on the trolley.

I couldn't get the Prado in to rip it out so I had to do it manually. I did cheat a bit and use the recipro saw to cut around the root ball.

What about a few winch extensions and some rigging?? Gotta get creative....no fun doing it by hand.

Years ago, at our previous place, we had a stump in the front yard that was playing hard-ball.
Had an XW Falc that was about out of reg. A few reverse rams did the trick.... :o :o ;D ;D
(XW's bring good money now.... ::))

Having been in Lock Down for a few weeks now l have toiled in my shed  . l have discovered most of the  " Lost Tools " that haven't been seen for 24 to 36 months or so  . ln the process of  " Tidying Up  " l have discovered a large flat subbase  under 9 years of stuff . l have been told its called  " Floor  " .
l cant really understand exactly what it is  , as Said Floor is clean ,  No oil , paint  , weld pokes , just flat clean 35MPA in pristine condition . l am concerned  it may/will come to look as the rest of the floor is  .

I did consider removing a wire panel but I was concerned it was so close to the fence it may take the fence with it.

She started life as a 3.6(221?) Auto.
Motor(351) was built in a 3x3m garden shed, LOL, which I still own(my father bought it for me as 25th birthday present, along with a pine timber work bench and vice I still have). Used a tractor with a jib(used for sugar cane fertilizer) to slip the motor in on the lawn.
Betch ya,  we can all share a story like that.

Are the trolley top panels just glued together?

And how are you attaching it to the trolley?

Glued and pocket holes on the underside. You usually do it with a biscuit joiner but I don't have one.

And how are you attaching it to the trolley?

6 L brackets on the underside.
