Hi from Dungowan
« on: February 19, 2018, 08:00:54 PM »
Hi, my name is Rick.
The other half (Katrina) and i enjoy getting away when we can. Sometimes just swag it (if its just me), sometimes tent it, and sometimes take the camper if a half decent bed is in order.

Currently (for the last 6-7yrs) have a no name on road 6x4 camper with a Oztrail 6 tent on it. Bare bones, no kitchen, small battery for a few lights, storage box on front and lecky brakes (guy i got it off used to tow it with a Bon Trike). Size is about all we need, or want really, but lack of clearance and general light build sometimes dictates where we will or won't take it. Currently tow it with either a standish V8/auto D1 Discovery, or a lifted, twin locked 200TDI Discovery.

Looking at upgrading in the next few years, taking 9-12 months off work and going for a little drive.....

Cheers
Rick

Hi Rick, welcome aboard, as mentioned in another post I used to be a regular at the Dungowen pub when I lived at Calala.

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.

Hi Rick,

Welcome aboard,
sounds like you enjoy camping with any type of cover over your head.
