If you haven't done the Gunbarrel before, excellent, One of my Favourites.

I've done the Gunbarrel but it was by bicycle unsupported in 1994. Alice to Wiluna approx. six weeks of the hardest cycling imaginable. HEAVY loads and horrid roads. I'd do it again in a heartbeat but I'd need the right company though.

The Oodnadatta though, I guess if you're looking for  the shortest route but it is extremely uneventful.
We've done it before and that's why we're doing it again. Spectacular desolation, we feel privileged to be able to travel through that country.

My wife drove it towing a trailer at around 90km/h. Don't get me wrong, beautiful part of the country, I just hope you're not driving it so you have driven it, thats what we did and were disappointed.

Nah, we will be doing it because we love the country.

Same as the the Strezleki & Old Strezleki, almost final trim on that grader work.
Last time we travelled the Old Strzelecki the "road" was due to be graded and was pretty knocked around and harsh.

You getting some decent   fines or Nuggs  out of that patch Kanga ? nice and concentrated, would be interesting to see where that lot washed from  .
Going back on Wed arvo for 5 days and going over it with a few more coils, then expanding the area.
It's been very productive so far.
Nice to find virgin ground.

Last week was Elaine and my 30th anniversary. We had a nice evening out, but was told to keep last night free by our 2 boys(well their actually men now, but will always be my boys).
They took us out for a great meal and gave us a couple of gifts(including a bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed) we had a great night and if that wasnt enough to make us smile, they then gave us a pair of awesome tickets to see Roger Waters in February.
Woke up this morning still smiling. Life is good.

Cheers Glen
congrats on the 30 years Glen....and on bringing up two fine boys by the sounds of it.

I should have mentioned we have a Klipsch so7nd bar and sub woofer connected via the Bluetooth sync. Works a treat and fantastic environment. I used to have projector and dedicated home theatre but now the LG replacement is perfect. Very happy with it all.

I have the new 2017 oled LG. Our new Samsung was rubbish with problems and was taken back. Replaced it with the LG.. sooo much better.

Picture quality is awesome and I previously had the Samsung UHD topend tv but it was broken, which what I’ve heard they have had lots of problems.

The LG also has the new 4K Apple TV, and watching a full 4K movie is fantastic. Even thinking about changing the bedroom Samsung with an LG, I much prefer the LG webtv guide as well so much faster.

You mean the batteries for the tools ? Contractors charge them before coming on site. We charged them with a battery charger ?? Was it a trick question ?

Are you expected to bring umpteen charged batteries for the duration of your job or is there a facility/area where they can be charged? Or are you expected to charge them in the donga each night?

Normally that's when we get home and putting it in the back shed, don't have much room to play
