A big fat welcome to............well me!
« on: December 29, 2010, 03:09:36 PM »
Hi All,
I thought I should do the introduce myself thing so here it is.
I live and work in Latrobe Valley, Gippsland, Victoria.
I have a Prado 150 GX which is pretty much standard.
I currently use a tent for camping however are looking at camper trainers in the near future (Going to borrow my sisters new camper trailer in January for a few nights to try it out.)
I am a SES member with over 20yrs of service, like Photography and outdoor activities (although time is limited for that).
I also geocache under my username and have found 490 caches to date.
I am looking forward to gaining information from this forum.
Regards

Welcome.
What a Crisp Image you've given me of yourself!
What do you find in those caches?  I've often wondered.

Well I first use Ozi to plan the trip and navigate to the cache site then I use a garmin legend hcx for the final assault.
I usually use a paperless system except for a notebook (paper one) for...... well notes
I really like it but some times the little images get a bit fed up with it.

G'day & Welcome.

So, where are you taking the camper? Borrowed is a good way to try it out.

Heading to Healsville to a van park for a few days. Not too hard and we can see how everything works
